One Hundred Stars is an independent, family-run, business started in 2015. Producing two collections a year, they create original and unique fashion pieces inspired by classical and historical designs with a modern twist.  The company has a strong focus on their ethical and sustainable morals, sourcing and producing all of their products in India and working closely with a small family business, ensuring that all workers for this company are paid fairly, work in top-quality facilities, and work equitable hours, 

Every piece designed by One Hundred Stars is made with AZO-free dyes, transported in recycled packing, made from sustainable fabrics like 100% cotton, and all scrap materials are made into products like headbands and scarves. This is done to reduce waste and prevent the negative impact on the environment.  As well as this, One Hundred Stars repairs all returned faulty items in-house to be sold in a charity sale, whereby all profits are donated to charities including food banks, mental health organisations, community centres, and helping homeless organisations.  

The kimono has a rich history that can be traced back to the 8th century and is still a symbol of Japanese culture today, but in the modern day, these can be styled in numerous different ways.
