The fabrics 

Certified Organic Cotton 

Orientique’s cotton has the G.O.T.S (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification: this means Orientique Organic Cotton garments are made to the highest fabric quality standards. Their fabric mills, suppliers and dedicated team in India work hard every day to ensure we have access to the finest organic cotton fibres. 

Sustainable Rayon 

Rayon is a natural-based fabric made from purified cellulose fibres from wood pulp or cotton. Like cotton, Rayon is breathable and moisture-absorbent. Sustainable rayon only uses timber sourced from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.  Orientique uses Livaeco by Birla Cellulose rayon, guaranteeing the traceability and transparency of the fibre’s journey from raw material to the product.  

Linen blend 

The new linen blend is 55% Rayon, 30% Cotton, 15% Linen, a perfect combination for summer dressing due to the lightweight, breathable qualities of these fabrics. 

TIP: Garments crafted with crinkle fabric should be stored and dried differently to other garments within the collection, making them super travel-friendly! 

1. Line Dry until damp and twist garment one end clockwise and the other anticlockwise to resemble a rope  
2. Secure with an elastic band and leave to dry in a warm environment  
3. Store your crinkle cotton items twisted to maintain their crinkle appearance
