How to determine your face shape 

Use an image of your face straight on and your hair out of your face, you may need to take one for the purpose of this guide!  

The face shapes:

Heart face shape

Your forehead is wider than your jawline, and your chin is pointed. The heart face shape has the slimmest chin of the face shapes.  

Round face shape

You have a wider forehead and a rounded jawline. Your jawline, cheekbones and forehead will be around equal widths, but the edges of your face are soft. 

Oval face shape

 Your face is longer than it is wide, and the cheekbones are the widest part of the face. Your jawline will be narrower than your cheekbones. The oval face is considered the most symmetrical of the face shapes. 

Square face shape

As with the round face shape, you have a forehead, jawline and cheekbones that are at nearly equal widths, but the square shape has more defined edges. The jawline is squared, and the chin is less pointed than other face shapes. 

Diamond face shape

 Your forehead and jawline are slimmer, and the widest part of your face is generally your cheekbones.  

Triangle face shape

 Also known as the pear face shape, it is characterised by a smaller forehead and a wider jawline. The jawline is often slightly squared and more structured.

Heart face shape 

We suggest buying frames that will elongate your face slightly, oversized, cat eye, and round shapes will add some length to your face. You may notice you do not suit smaller frames as much for this reason. 

Round face shape  

Angular frames that add some dimension to your soft features will complement you very well. Square, cat eye and rectangle frames will create the illusion of a sharper and slimmed face. Avoid rounded and smaller frames.

Oval face shape 

Oval face shapes are likely to suit almost any frame due to the symmetrical appearance of their features! Embrace this by wearing cool and unique styles, or equally classic shapes will also look great.  

Triangle face shape 

Larger frames will complement this face shape amazingly, as they balance out the dimensions of the smaller forehead and wider jawline. Aviators, rectangular and larger cat eye silhouettes will look great. 

Square face shape 

To soften the look of the jawline, round and oval frames will look the best on this face shape. This will create the illusion of softer features and complement well.  

Diamond face shape
