EMU is an Australian footwear brand that utilises top-quality natural products such as sheepskin, leather and merino wool to produce long-lasting, comfortable footwear. They encompass functionality with style in their designs which are often water-resistant. Despite growing into a global brand, all their production still resides within Australia, where it all began. They are known for their sheepskin slippers and boots, but they also produce summer collections with beautiful organic cotton trainers, leather sandals and natural jute espadrilles. Sustainability 

EMU prides itself in their use of natural products such as sheepskin, merino wool and leather since this means its products are renewable, biodegradable and ultra-soft on the skin. Their approach to sustainability is using natural products to create durable high-quality footwear so that customers will consume less and what is consumed takes 6 months to biodegrade, as opposed to synthetic fibres which take 40 years to biodegrade!

The Lyrebird Sandal 

The Lyrebird sandal is a stylish and practical sandal, crafted with double-coated water-friendly leather and a natural rubber outsole, these sandals can take you from the poolside to the city day trips. The modern cross-over design fastens easily with a Velcro fastening at the back of the ankle and they are complete with silver hardware. The lyrebird sandal is available in black and white ‘coconut’. 

Babinda Sandal 

The Babinda sandal is a white pretty espadrille flatform with a silver ankle buckle and a strappy design.  Made with a premium leather upper, a cotton lining and footbed, a jute-wrapped EVA midsole and a natural rubber outsole, this sandal is made entirely from sustainable materials! Ellery Trainer 

Ellery is a white ‘coconut’ espadrille canvas trainer crafted in an organic cotton upper and lining, a natural jute-wrapped midsole and a natural rubber outsole.
