This season we have been met with an array of gorgeous prints that will take us right through into the Summer! As the sun gets brighter so do our clothes and the perfect prints are essential for Spring looks. Expect bright gingham pieces, bold abstract prints, pretty ditsy floral prints, and classic stripes. 

Gingham and checks 

This year gingham is trending and we are not complaining. The print has a timeless look that is both stylish and classy, and whether or not it is a trend it is always a fashion staple in our eyes. Mama B has lots of bright gingham pieces in their Spring 2023 collection, putting a modern spin on this classic print. The print is in ‘Officina’ royal blue, ‘Fuoco’ true red, ‘Rapa’ purple and ‘Avocado’ green, and classic ‘Nero’ black. Oska, a new brand to Gemini has some micro-check prints within their new collection, which alongside their contemporary silhouettes, provides an urban and modern look that transcends fashion trends.  

Stripes 

Stripes will always be on trend, without a doubt. This Spring, expect bold horizontal print t-shirts and knits, all of which pose as perfect transitional pieces. Mama B, Chalk and OSKA’s striped pieces are high-quality basic pieces that you know you will reach for again and again. Masai have a couple of chic stripe shirts in a classic white and navy stripe that can never go a miss as we approach the warmer months, to pair with jeans or neutral trousers. 

Florals

As with the stripes, are florals ever not a fashion favourite? Something about a floral print just oozes femininity and warmer weather. What is not to love about this print? Not to mention the variety of floral prints to choose from! Between the beautiful range of One Hundred Stars floral pieces that are perfect for holidays, to ditsy floral pieces, to bold and bright florals, floral is the type of print suitable for almost any occasion during Spring and Summer. 

Abstract prints

Unique and bold, abstract prints always seem to be the prints that gain the most compliments! Expect stand-out abstract prints across all of your favourite brands this season, in both bright and muted colour palettes. Two stand-out prints for the season are the paint/tye-dye effect print from Mama B and the layer crepe print from Sandwich Clothing! Gemini also love the ditsy floral ‘Jadeite’ print by Masai. 

Leaves

A variation of florals, leaf prints provide a slightly less feminine option for those wanting to sport some prints this Spring and Summer but aren’t keen on florals. Adini’s new collection has some beautiful leaf prints in cool green and neutral shades, a Gemini favourite being the desert leaf print by Adini, a neutral and understated print available in both a blouse and a dress.
