As the general public gets ready for Spring, the fashion world is preparing for AW23 with the approaching fashion weeks and trade shows! Claire and Donna have been attending trade shows for the last few weeks which will continue throughout the month in preparation for AW23. Despite this, we are so excited to be launching our Spring collections for 2023 as we receive weekly deliveries of new stock!   

We wanted to acknowledge this exciting time of year with the One Hundred Stars maps collection. Including fashion capitals such as New York, Paris and London, there is a city for everyone in the collection.  

New York Fashion Week Friday 10th – Wednesday 15th February 2023 

The first of the 4 main fashion hubs internationally, NYFW has kickstarted the month with a mix of physical runways, presentations and virtual events, with some events being available to the public. The February NYFW events were located in Manhattan at Spring studios, an agency for fashion, film and photography. Some emerging trends that have been showcased include graphic knitwear, oversized silhouettes and floor-length skirts! 

The One Hundred Stars maps collection features a New York maps Gown and a New York maps scarf, with the signature ‘taxi yellow’ running through the designs, and key locations such as Central Park.  

London Fashion Week 2023:  Friday 17th – Tuesday 21st February 2023 

In the digital world, London Fashion Week has become more accessible than ever, with many brands providing virtual shows for the general public to watch via their phones or laptops. With a calendar of digital events available to watch throughout the event, anyone can feel a part of the excitement and anticipation for future trends. London is full of opportunities for young creatives to flourish and this feeling is prevalent among the displays, both physical and digital, across the week. 

The One Hundred Stars Maps collection features a London Maps Scarf and a London Maps Gown. We can’t wait to sport the gown whilst watching some of the virtual shows at home, or have the scarf as a beautiful bag accessory on our commute to the office!  

Milan Fashion Week: Tuesday 21st – Monday 27th February 2023 

Milan Fashion Week is located in the centre of the city around Piazza Duomo, and it hosts over 100 designer shows each year across the February and September dates. The event allows designers to present unique brand experiences to an extremely exclusive audience. Huge names in fashion, such as the likes of Prada, Giorgio Armani and Gucci will be showcasing in Milan at the end of February.

Paris Fashion Week: Monday 27th February – Tuesday 7th March 2023 

Last but not least, the city where it all began and the fashion capital of the world; Paris. It is said that the atmosphere at Paris Fashion Week is unlike any other, with people travelling across the world to experience a glimpse of the street style, the shows, and the vents. Home to some of the biggest designers like Chanel and Saint Laurent, Paris is an extremely exciting place to be at this time of year, and we can’t wait to see some of the runway looks! 

The One Hundred Stars Maps collection features a Paris Maps Gown, which is in beautiful pastel shades of blue and pink and demonstrates the perfect structure of the Parisian streets. Treat yourself to a Latte and a croissant whilst lounging in your gown for the perfect slow Parisian morning!
