Fashion Colour Trends 2023:Spring
With new orders coming in weekly, it is time to assess the key fashion colour trends 2023 for Spring and break down what to expect from Gemini Woman in terms of the key colour palettes. Between classic colours, and new shades to play around with, there is a lot to unpack! So, let’s get started.
Bright and Bold
The brighter the better! A pop of colour can brighten up your entire look and create a youthful glow; regardless of the season, colour never goes a miss. Colourful prints are everywhere this year with brands such as Adini, Masai and Sandwich providing an array of beautiful colourful patterns in their new collections. Luella Fashion’s new Winter Brights collection features an amazing range of cashmere knits and printed shirts that will look lovely with a staple pair of jeans, perhaps from Robell. As always, Amazing Woman has some perfect bold shades to style simply with jeans or trousers, or to layer with shirts and dresses. Finally, a new brand HOFF Trainers has stepped onto the scene boasting colour and energy. Their city-inspired footwear collection including trainers inspired by Rome and Italy is a key indicator of the brights trend.
Nauticals
A timeless colour palette year-in-year-out, nautical reds, neutrals, navy, white and black are seasonless classics that complement each other very well. Whether in block colours, stripes or prints; the nautical colour palette is elegant and chic, and is very common in Parisian style. Masai Clothing has an amazing floral nautical print within its collection which is featured on tops, dresses and scarves. They have also brought back some famous styles in nautical colours, such as the Piri Essential Ponte Roma Jersey Culotte - Goji Berry and the Fanasi Knit Jumper in Maritime Blue. Alongside Masai, Chalk has a great range of striped tops that will pair well with Masai’s new collection for the nautical look.

Blues
Adini, Foil, Masai, and Sandwich are embracing blue this year and so should you. Whether it’s navy, sky blue, or royal blue, it is a shade that works for every season and it is a great colour to have in a few core items of clothing, such as a knit jumper, a shirt, and a pair of jeans. Adini’s Jaipur pattern is a Gemini favourite, this gorgeous monochromatic blue print is available in three styles and will look great with white accessories!

Pastels
Pastels are a very versatile colour palette across the seasons and they complement lots of other shades. For monochromatic looks mixing pastel and bright shades can work really well. Equally, pastels go great with neutrals or a classic blue denim jean. Chalk and Amazing Woman has some great pastel pieces such as the Pippa Roll Neck Jumper and the Fleur Striped tops.

Neutrals
Neutrals are key every season, as they complement almost every colour and they can really brighten up your looks in an understated way. Pairing a blouse or t-shirt with neutral trousers as opposed to a darker shade can completely change the look and this is a great way to re-wear tops throughout the seasons. Mama B have an amazing range of neutral trousers, knitwear, and tops that could be paired together, or alongside the other key shades for the season!

Greens
If you are in the mood for a pop of colour; bright green is the way to go. InWear and Tirelli have some beautiful jumpers and tops in bright green that looks great with black, for a classy take on adding bright shades to your wardrobe and looks. For a more wearable option, olive and forest green shades are lovely, Amazing Woman has lots of knitwear in multiple shades of green, a favourite being the Celia Round Neck Ribbed Knit in Musch Olive.
