Crêpes
Ingredients:
-1 cup (120 grams) all-purpose flour
-1/2 cup milk
-1/2 cup water
-2 large eggs
-2 tablespoons unsalted melted butter
-1/4 teaspoon salt
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and the eggs. Gradually add in the milk and water, stirring to combine. Add the salt and butter; beat until smooth.Leave aside for 30 minutes. Heat a lightly oiled non stick frying pan. Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes, until the bottom is light brown. Loosen with a spatula, turn and cook the other side.
Cinnamon Apple filling
Ingredients
-2 tablespoons butter
-2 cups chopped unpeeled Gala apple (about 1 large)
-¼ cup brown sugar
-½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Melt butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add remaining ingredients; sauté 3 minutes or until apples are golden. Fill warm crepes with the apple filling and serve with a drizzle of caramel sauce and icing sugar .
