October is Breast Cancer Awareness month - a cause that's very personal to the Gemini Woman team.

How are we raising money?
We're showing our support by donating 20% of this week's net proceeds to the Wear it Pink campaign by Breast Cancer Now. That means, every time you shop online with us between now and Saturday 21st October, you'll be helping us to raise money for a future where everyone with breast cancer lives.

Wear it Pink Day
Breast Cancer Now’s Wear It Pink Day is one of the biggest fundraising events in the UK. Taking place on Friday 20th October during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, thousands of amazing people will wear it pink in their communities, schools or work places for the UK's largest breast cancer charity, Breast Cancer Now.
Team Gemini will be getting involved by dressing up in pink this upcoming Friday. Yes, even those of us who prefer to permanently be head-to-toe in black clothing! Make sure you look out for some pics of our girly hue on Facebook.

How can you support the cause?
Along with shopping online with Gemini this week, we think it would be great if you just wore something pink on Friday 20th October, raise some money and you will be helping to make cutting edge research happen. If you’re at work, you could get your colleagues involved by all wearing pink and join in the fun with fundraising sweepstakes or quizzes. Schools could have a non-uniform day, hold a cake sale and don't forget the prizes for the best fancy dress (pink wigs everywhere!). And if you’re looking to take part in your community you could organise a special wear it pink party to bring everyone together and raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Now.
