IS LOSING WEIGHT ONE OF YOUR NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS?
In the New Year of 2014, losing weight or at least, getting healthy, was the number one resolution on most peoples list and surprise, surprise, this year it has reached the top of the list once more. By mid-January 29% of those who make losing weight as their resolution have already fallen off the bandwagon and only 8% of people to stick to it and accomplish their goals. We know its not easy to stick to new goals when balancing your home life and work life, and how little time we have to create these fabulous meals when we’ve got other stuff we need to get done.
Breakfast always seems to be the meal we all forget but it’s actually the most important meal of the day as it gets your metabolism kick started for the rest of the day.
For breakfast we know how hard it is to get up first thing in the morning and make breakfast as well as eating it so how about Overnight Oats? This can be made five minutes before you go to bed the night before, and all you need to do is take it out of the fridge first thing in the morning. We love the sound of Peanut Butter and Banana overnight oats
What you need:
8oz of rolled oats
80ml of skimmed milk
60ml of low fat greek yoghurt
1 banana
1 tbsp peanut butter
1 tsp honey
Method:
Simply mash up the banana, and mix all the ingredients altogether in a jar and keep in the fridge to pick up the morning after.
